Luca Engstler continued to set the pace in the second practice session at Dubai; the German youngster clocked the fastest lap of 2:10.568 that was six tenth slower that his early morning’s best time.
Luca’s Liqui Moly Team Engstler teammate Mat’o Homola was second fastest once again (2:11.197), closely followed by Luigi Ferrara in the Top Run Subaru (2:11.298) and Brandon Gdovic (2:11.372). The latter improved by half-a-second compared to the first session.
Another significant improvement was set by Michela Cerruti in the Mulsanne Racing Alfa Romeo; she was clocked at 2:11.426 and ranked fifth.
James Kaye was able to improve consistently throughout the session at the wheel of the CadSpeed Racing Audi and eventually posted the sixth fastest lap of 2:11.678.
